History and Experience

Texinia is an independent American oil & gas firm, founded in 1948 as a joint venture between a group of prominent New York investors and a noted Oklahoma wildcatter named Charles R. Walbert.

During the 1960’s, Texinia came to be controlled by brothers John B. Trevor and Bronson Trevor, with Walbert leading the operations of the company until his death in 1982. The firm has successfully operated in the exploration and production space for more than 7 decades.

Today, Texinia is operated by the third generation of the Bronson Trevor family who continue to lead the business in successful conventional and unconventional oil and gas prospects and the acquisition, trade and sale of producing and non-producing mineral rights.

Operations

While Texinia operates a number of wells in central Oklahoma, the primary focus of the firm is as a non-operating working interest partner in hundreds of wells across Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado.

Texinia is also a significant mineral owner. Along with its owners, the firm controls a portfolio representing 70 years of careful acquisitions. We control thousands of net acres of both producing and non-producing minerals in South Texas, across the state of Oklahoma, and in eastern Colorado.
